If you have an issue of a lost baggage, Indigo will do their best to help you retrieve the same, though your cooperation in this regard is needed as well.

You have to be careful and vigilant about your cabin baggage all the time, as Indigo isn’t liable for any damage or loss to your hand luggage.

When you realise or notice that your baggage has been lost, you will be needed to file a complaint at your destination airport. If there is not complaint against the baggage receipt, then the airline authorities will consider that it has been properly delivered and is in absolutely good condition.

You should exit from the baggage delivery zone only after you have reported your lost or damaged baggage to any representative of Indigo Airlines. If you do not do the same, it will be assumed that your baggage has been successfully delivered.

When you adhere to all these guidelines to the tee then it will help Indigo to act effectively in returning your misplaced baggage to you at the earliest. After you have filed a complaint and send in a request you may even track the status of your misplaced or delayed baggage on Indigo’s online portal. You need to enter important details like your name and file reference number, and that will do.

For more safety and protection with your delayed or lost baggage, you may avail of Indigo’s Baggage Delayed and Lost Protection services.
